BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing. The BPO sector has a broad scope and is gaining importance as it can reduce cost and maintain or improve efficiencies while allowing clients to focus resources on core competencies.

Generally speaking, it refers to subcontracting or outsourcing certain business operations to a third party.
